25-26 calendar
calendar 25-26
Check out the new 2025-26 school calendar:
At its regularly scheduled meeting on January 21, the Camden Fairview School Board unanimously approved an alternate school calendar with a July 30 start date for the 2025-2026 school year. In a staff vote, this calendar received 65% of the vote before being recommended for approval by the board. For more information, please see the 2025-26 Calendar Overview.

Some features of the calendar include:
  • The school year will run from July 30, 2025, to May 28, 2026.
  • Students will still attend 1068 hours of instruction as mandated by state law.
  • Summer break for students will generally last around 7-8 weeks.
  • Additional holidays will be added throughout the school year with most months having an extended weekend or week-long holiday.
  • The average teacher’s contract will remain 190 days.
  • State-mandated teacher professional development days will remain the same.
  • Parent-Teacher Conference requirements will not change. The 25-26 calendar does have conferences on separate weeks for PreK-5 and 6-12 grades in the fall semester.
  • The calendar will still have 1-hour Early Out Wednesdays. They will be scheduled at a later date.

The District understands that this will be an adjustment for families and staff. We will make every effort to provide support and information as we make this transition. Thank you.

Important reminders for all CFSD events
All students are expected to be on their best behavior and follow all school policies, including the dress code, while attending school events. Students will be banned from after school activities if they are involved in any fights, disrespectful towards administration or any school personnel, or if any prohibited items are found on them or in their vehicles during an event.

6-12 grade students will have 20 minutes after school activities end to leave campus. Students should notify parents ahead of time to let them know what time the activity will end. Announcements are made prior to the activity ending to remind students to contact parents.

We appreciate your support and look forward to cheering on all Cardinal student-athletes together!

attendance matters
Attendance Matters! Let's Show Up Together This School Year.
At Camden Fairview, we believe that #AttendanceMatters and that absences are lost opportunities to learn in the classroom. Let's work together to make sure students are at school every day possible! Some absences are unavoidable, but it’s important that students are at school from bell-to-bell as often as possible.

Beginning in kindergarten, regular attendance is often an indicator of higher academic performance. Students who are at #SchoolEveryDay also do better academically in middle school and are more likely to graduate high school.
