Stay Connected with Camden Fairview: District News for the Week of November 3 - 9

The regular monthly meeting of the CFSD School Board will take place on Thursday, November 21 this month.

#CardinalPride - The Camden Fairview High School Marching Band earned a Superior Rating at the Region 3 Marching Assessment on October 30. Congratulations to every CFHS Band student and band directors Brandon Hughey, Justin Burns, and Shelby Tuskey!

The 7th Grade Lady Cardinal Basketball team will host a jamboree at CFHS Gym on Saturday, November 9, with games beginning at 10AM.

Camden Fairview Softball will host a final tryout at the CFHS Softball Field on Thursday, November 7, at 4:30. All who wish to try out must email Coach Center at kcenter@cfcards.net to sign up before tryout day.

This will be the final tryout. If you make the team, you will hear from Coach Center by noon on Friday, November 8. 

Cardinal Baseball and Lady Cardinal Softball will both host parents meetings on Monday, November 11, 2024. Please make plans to attend if your child has made the softball team or is interested in trying out for the baseball team.

All students are expected to be on their best behavior and follow all school policies, including the dress code, while attending school events. Students will be banned from after school activities if they are involved in any fights, disrespectful towards administration or any school personnel, or if any prohibited items are found on them or in their vehicles during an event.

6-12 grade students will have 20 minutes after school activities end to leave campus. Students should notify parents ahead of time to let them know what time the activity will end. Announcements are made prior to the activity ending to remind students to contact parents.

At Camden Fairview, we believe that #AttendanceMatters and that absences are lost opportunities to learn in the classroom. Let's start the year off right - at school every day possible! Some absences are unavoidable, but it’s important that students are at school from bell-to-bell as often as possible.

Beginning in kindergarten, regular attendance is often an indicator of higher academic performance. Students who are at #SchoolEveryDay also do better academically in middle school and are more likely to graduate high school.
