Tammy Woodberry Chosen as Ivory Primary Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to the 2021-22 Ivory Primary Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Tammy Woodberry!

Mrs. Woodberry has been teaching for seven years, all at Ivory Primary. She graduated from UCA with a Master of Arts in Teaching. Watching her students gain confidence in themselves is one of her favorite parts of teaching. “My favorite thing about being a teacher is seeing my students excited about learning. Sometimes the learning starts out as a struggle to some, but when they get the concept of what I am teaching, they become so proud of themselves. The students want to learn more and sometimes they do not want to stop learning. That is my favorite thing about being a teacher,” said Mrs. Woodberry. When nominating Mrs. Woodberry for Ivory Primary Teacher of the Year, a co-worker shared, “She embodies all the qualifications for Teacher of the Year and helps me become a better teacher every day.”
