Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer Information

The Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (S-EBT) provides funds for meals to eligible students during the summer when school is not in session. Eligible students will automatically receive $40 a month for three months ($120 total) on an EBT card.

Who's eligible for S-EBT?

  • Students who are eligible for SNAP or TEA benefits.

  • For students who are not eligible for SNAP or TEA benefits, their parents/guardians must complete an application. Approval will be based on household income. This includes students attending a Provision 2 school, which applies to all Camden Fairview schools. The household income guidelines for eligibility are the same as those for free and reduced priced meals.

What's the S-EBT application process? Parents/guardians of students who are not automatically eligible can access the application online, go to a DHS county office, or come to CFSD's Central Office to pick up an application. The completed application must be returned to the county DHS office or submitted to Check out the DHS Summer EBT Site:
