Announcements & Reminders:

Labor Day Break is Next Week: No School September 1-5!

Additional holidays were added throughout the school year. The first week-long holiday is Labor Day from September 1-5!
Most months have an extended weekend or week-long holiday.
Parent-Teacher Conferences for K-5 and 6-12 graders will be on separate nights in the first semester and on the same night during the second semester.
1-hour Early Out Wednesdays will be on each month's second and fourth Wednesdays.

On Wednesday, all Camden Fairview schools will dismiss one hour early to allow teachers additional time for professional development and collaboration.

This year, Early Out Wednesdays will happen on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month:

Health Immunization Reminders:

Dear Cardinal Families:

Last week, you may have received a letter reminding your family that your child has immunization requirements to meet this year. Please carefully review the letter and contact your child's doctor or Ouachita County Health Department to schedule their immunizations.

By state law, on September 8, 2025, we are required to exclude from school students who are still lacking immunizations until they obtain their immunizations or an exemption.

Kindergarten students must have all required immunizations including 4 y/o shots and a complete physical that includes a review of systems.

All students who will be 11 years old by September 1st must have a Tdap shot.

All 7th grade students and students 16-years-old by September 1st must have the Meningococcal vaccine.

Please schedule immunization appointments now with your child's healthcare provider or the Ouachita County Health Unit. The Health Unit's telephone number is (870) 836-5033.

Cardinal Athletics:

Cardinal Athletic Passes 2025-26:

It's time to show your support for Cardinal student-athletes are every home event - Get your Cardinal Athletics pass this week! Passes are good at all regular season home games.

Adult All-Sports Pass – $100

Gets you into all regular season home athletic events.

Student Athlete Pass – $25

For CFSD students on a school team in the 2025–26 school year.

Non-Athlete Student Pass – $60

For CFSD students grades K–12 not on a school team.

Staff – Show your district badge at the gate for free entry.

Where to Purchase:

Student Athlete and Non-Athlete Student passes will be sold at CFHS and CFMS.
Adult All-Sports Passes and all student passes will be sold at the Central Office.

Passes are available this week. Payment accepted: Cash or Check.

Reminders for All Cardinal Athletic Events:

Admission is $6 for all home athletic events. Athletic Passes are available for sale at Central Office (625 Clifton Street). All CFSD employees have free entry with their district ID badge.

Clear Bag Policy. Camden Fairview School District has implemented a Clear Bag Policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums, gymnasiums and other athletic fields.* Prohibited items include but are not limited to purses larger than a 4.5” x 6.5” clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, grocery bags, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Student Conduct. K-5 grade students must be supervised by an adult at all CFSD athletic events. All students, home and visiting, are expected to be on their best behavior while attending any school event. Students will be removed from events if they are involved in any fights, act disrespectfully toward administrators or other school personnel, or if any prohibited items are found on them or in their vehicle. All students must be picked up within 20 minutes of the end of any event

After the school day started this morning, one of our school buses was involved in an accident. We want to reassure our families that no students were on board at the time. Our bus driver was uninjured, and we are very thankful for their safety.

We are also thankful to our local first responders for their quick and professional response.

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Cardinal Golf Brings Home 2nd Place!

Our Cardinals had a strong showing in Arkadelphia on Tuesday, finishing 2nd as a team! Special shoutout to Nick DeLuca, who shot the lowest individual score of the tournament with a 39!

The team is back on the road Monday at Nashville and Thursday at Magnolia – good luck, Cards!

📣 Tomorrow, August 7, is Meet the Cardinals in Downtown Camden!

Join us as we introduce our 7th–12th grade student-athletes from:

🔥 Plus, enjoy performances by the CFHS Band, Varsity and Junior High Cheer, and Diamond Dancers as we kick off the season with #CardinalPride! ❤️🤍

🔻 Important Info for Thursday Night 🔻

🚗 CFHS students and coaches/sponsors who are driving themselves should park in the lot at the corner of Jackson and Harrison.

🟨 Students participating in Meet the Cardinals may be dropped off and picked up at the corner of Harrison and Jackson.

🅿️ Public parking will be available on Jackson, Washington, and on the open sections of Jefferson. Please note there is no parking on Harrison.

🟥 The “Athletes Only” area (courthouse parking lot) must remain clear for student-athletes and participants. Families and community members may gather in the designated spectator areas shown on the map.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 7th–9th grade teams will be introduced first, followed by pep rally performances and varsity team introductions. After their introductions, 7th–9th grade athletes may join their families in the crowd or wait in the athlete area for pickup. Please make a plan with your child ahead of time.

Join us as we introduce our amazing 7th–12th grade student-athletes from all fall sports: football, volleyball, golf, tennis, cross country, cheer, and dance! 🎉
