Good evening, Cardinal families! Back-to-school season officially begins this week!

Here’s what you need to know.

Registration

Online registration for returning students is now open in PowerSchool. Snapcodes are being sent to the email address currently on file and mailed to each student’s home address.

Please complete registration to update your contact information, review your student’s details, and make sure everything is ready for the first day of school on July 29.

Have a child entering kindergarten or enrolling in Camden Fairview for the first time? New-student registration is also available online.

All Cardinal families should complete registration as soon as possible to:

Immunization Requirements

Backpack Reminder (CFMS & CFHS Families)

Students in grades 6-12 are required to use clear or mesh backpacks while on campus.

Each student-athlete may bring one athletic bag for sports equipment or uniforms. However, a regular backpack may not be used as an athletic bag unless it is provided by the District to the student-athlete. Athletic bags are subject to inspection.

Kindergarten Cardinal Camp starts Thursday!

Register today and help your child start kindergarten with confidence!
Incoming kindergarten students may attend:
  • July 16 only
  • July 17 only
  • Both days

Camp focuses on kindergarten readiness, classroom routines, and helping students become comfortable before the first day of school.

Parents are also invited to attend a Kindergarten Parent Session each day from 11:15-11:45 AM.

Kindergarten Physicals & Immunizations
Incoming students must have required immunizations and a current kindergarten physical completed before school begins. For more information, review immunization requirements on our website.

CFHS Schedule Pickups
High school schedule pickup begins this Wednesday. Students should bring $5 for their ID badge.

  • July 15 | 8:30-3:00: 11th & 12th Grades
  • July 16 | 8:30-3:00: 9th & 10th Grades
  • July 17 | 8:30-3:00: All CFHS students

Open House & Freshmen Orientation are next week!
  • July 24 | 5:00-7:00 PM

CFHS Reserved Parking Fundraiser Begins Wednesday! Students may reserve and personalize a parking space for $25, which includes a parking pass. Stop by the CFHS front office beginning Wednesday, July 15, from 8:30-3:00 to reserve your spot and support student activities and incentives! Senior Events:

Senior Shirts: Seniors, it’s time to order the official Class of 2027 Senior Shirt! Orders close July 20, so don’t wait! 

Senior Sunrise: Sunday, July 26, from 5:30–6:30 AM at the football field. Seniors, bring your own breakfast and wear your senior T-shirt.

Senior Breakfast is Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 AM at First United Methodist Church (Downtown). Seniors should wear white to breakfast and for the first day of school. Contact Autumn Beasley to help with breakfast.

Cardinal Athletics:

7th-12th Grade Free Physicals | July 14 & 15

CFSD students in grades 7-12 who plan to participate in athletics or band during the 2026-27 school year must have a current physical on file. We’re partnering with local medical providers to provide free physicals to CFHS and CFMS students on July 14 and 15.

  • CFHS Multi-Purpose Building

Students who do not currently have a valid physical may continue participating in summer workouts through July 15.

Please bring the completed AAA-required current physical form and health history form to the physicals.
