Gifted & Talented Program

High School – Gifted & Talented Program

GT students at the 9th-12th grade levels are served through Pre-AP and AP classes.  Thinking skills, critical and creative problem solving skills and research skills are emphasized. Affective needs of gifted students are addressed, as well.
Quiz Bowl teams and chess club are options at this level. Project Lead the Way lessons in STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) are opportunities for our students. Governor's School staff meet with our students, and they can then submit their application to be chosen for this summer enrichment.
